go with the pillow

This morning was very cold with some sleet & snow falling. I knew it would be a sewing day, but couldn't decide on what to start on. So many ideas are floating around up in my mind. Chatting with my friend, Raquel, she said "Go with the pillow". So I did. We've had this stuffing from a pillow that ripped out for a couple of weeks. Knowing it shouldn't just be thrown away, using it to make a new pillow seemed like the right thing to do. And this is how it turned out.

Looks pretty fall-like, but no doubt it's from the feel of this dreary day. Often, when making something, it's tough to choose what fabric to use. Over the years, I've accumulated quite a bit of it.
There's more stuffing which will turn into something looking more spring-like later on.. very soon I hope.
